About The Book
Raising Focused kids in a PHONE-OBSESSED WORLD
In “Raising Focused Kids in a Phone-Obsessed World: A Practical Guide to Building Attention and Thriving in a Digital Age,” Aderinsola Eniaiyewu presents an essential tool for parents, teachers, and caregivers that will help guide them through the process of raising attentive, emotionally resilient children amidst our screen-crazy culture. Embracing her knowledge as a parent of four children and her religious empowerment background, Eniaiyewu incorporates scientific studies and practical, healthy alternatives to assist families in reclaiming attention in our increasingly fragmented global environment. Starting with the science of attention involving neuroscience, Eniaiyewu explores how electronic devices might rewire kids’ brains to reduce concentration levels.
Upon this foundation, Eniaiyewu also offers practical solutions for families, including creating distraction-free zones and developing aware habits. She also introduces interactive exercises such as the “Savings Jar” and “Patience Challenge” to educate children in delayed gratification.

What Our Client Say
At last, a book that understands! As a mother to two screen-obsessed children, I desperately needed real solutions—not just guilt trips. Combining science, faith, and doable advice (such as the 'Waiting Game' to practice patience) transformed our home. Bedtime struggle? Over. Homework concentration? Changed. If you want to have resilient children while keeping your mind intact, read on! I highly recommend reading this!!
I must admit, I initially rolled my eyes at yet another parenting book. However, the author quickly captivated me with her warmth and practical common sense. The tip about creating "tech-free zones" alone transformed our family dinners. The stories, like using a savings jar to teach delayed gratification, made the lessons memorable. This isn’t just advice; it’s a lifeline for parents guiding the challenges of the modern world.
Reading this was like a hug and a wake-up call. The author is like a companion you wish you had—someone who's been through the trenches but still holds on to hope for grace. The mindfulness practices benefited my anxious child, and the 'why' behind focus (not merely the 'how') brought tears to my eyes. If you wish to parent with intention, begin here. Trust Me!
